Global Missions exists to take the "whole gospel to the whole world, by the whole church." Our mission is that every tribe and nation will know the name of Jesus.

Marcus and Renee Brainos

FRANCE
Marcus grew up in France and has felt a burden to minister in the country since
Bible college. Brother and Sister Brainos received their missionary appointment to
France in March 2004. They have now relocated to the Southeast region and are
currently planting a church in Nice. Marcus continues to teach in the French Bible
Institute near Paris. 

Brandon and Mollie Borders

NEW ZEALAND
Brandon and Mollie received their appointment to New Zealand in 2015 and arrived in Hamilton in 2017. They have pastored the church in Hamilton, as well as established a preaching point in the city of Tauranga. Brandon serves as the president of Apostolic Bible College of New Zealand. In 2020 they had twenty-two students and graduated twenty with a certificate degree and one from the intermediate degree program. 

Ken and Kay Burgess

SPAIN
Ken and Kay have been serving in Global Missions since July 1989.  In February 2015 they were appointed to the nation of Spain, where they began their sixth term as career missionaries. Since their arrival in Spain they have served as pastors of Tabernáculo de Vida Madrid , district superintendent and director of education. They have been blessed to be a part of a great revival in Madrid, where they have opened up seven new churches in the last four years. 

Allan and Carla Calhoun

THE NETHERLANDS
After the Associates In Missions term in Ireland, at the invitation of Pastor Timothy Pickard, they spent a transitional time on the ministry team of First UPC. This was part of God’s process as Toronto is one of the world’s most multicultural cities, with 49% of its population having been born outside of Canada. Michael Tuttle, the regional director for Europe & the Middle East invited the Calhouns to visit The Netherlands. God confirmed the call and they were appointed in September of 2015. 

Mark and Bethany Harris

JAPAN/SOUTH ASIA
Orginally from the Arkansas District, Mark and Bethany evangelized full-time for over eleven years and then pastored more than fourteen years in Wisconsin. The Harris family received their appointment to AIM in 2013. In 2014, they arrived in Bangladesh, where they taught Bible studies, taught Purpose Institute, and traveled to India to do evangelistic ministry. In 2015, they moved to India, where they work currently traveling to countries in Asia doing Apostolic Ministry.

Eddy and Della Mae Kennedy

NEW CALEDONIA
After serving as AIMers for five years in the Africa Region, Eddy and Della Mae were appointed to the islands of Mauritius, Reunion and Seychelles in 1996, with the goal of opening the work in Reunion. After establishing the work there, the Kennedys relocated to New Caledonia, another French-speaking island with no apostolic church. Since their arrival in New Caledonia, there have been over two hundred baptized in Jesus’ name. 

David and Alice Kline

LEEWARD ISLANDS
David and Alice are from New Orleans and entered into missions on the AIM program by going to Zambia and Zimbabwe in 1994. They taught in the Bible school and evangelized on the weekends. This resulted in ten new churches being started.
In 2018 the Klines changed fields to the Leeward Islands and are excited by the revival God has in store.

Stephen and Angelica

WESTERN SAMOA/
AMERICAN SAMOA
After visa complications in New Zealand the Merritts met the board and moved their appointment to Samoa/American Samoa in 2019. Arriving on site in early 2020 they arrived and were tasked with restarting the national Bible college. They have seen twenty students graduate with many more enrolled. They have started a new church in the city of Apia and are now running thirty-five to forty faithful members.

Steve and Cheri Smith

GUYANA
Steve and Cheri Smith were pastoring in Flora, Illinois, when they answered the call of God to serve in Guyana, South America. They arrived in Guyana on the Associates In Missions program in January 2001, were fully appointed at the General Conference in 2002 and have been faithfully serving in Guyana ever since. 

Zack and Jennifer Sportsman

RWANDA/BURUNDI
In 2011, they served under the Associates In Missions Program in West Africa. Their first appointed country was a French speaking nation so when they went to the field they devoted time to language study. They also participated in the construction of the Wendell Gleason Memorial Education Center. In 2019, they changed fields and are now working in Rwanda and Burundi. 

Phil and Twyla Tolstad

UGANDA
Phil Tolstad was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, to missionary parents. He attended Conquerors Bible College where he met and married Twyla. After years of pastoring, in 2000 they received missionary appointment with the UPCI to South Africa. Upon transferring from Malawi to Uganda in 2007 the church has experienced great revival and growth. From thirty-one churches and 3000 constituents to over 876 Churches and 182,000 constituents. 

Michael and Dianna Tuttle

EUROPE
In 1982 Michael, wife Dianna & son Matthew left for Germany. They served as AIM missionaries from 1982-84 to the U.S. & NATO Military personnel in Baumholder, Germany. In Spring 1984 they were appointed career missionaries to Holland, where they served until being appointed as Regional Director for Europe and the Middle East Region, January 1, 2011.

Jerald and Linda Staten

WASHINGTON, DC
Jerald E. and Linda L. Staten are career church planters and are currently metro missionaries in Washington D.C. In 43 years the Statens have started five churches across the United States. In The DC metro area there are now five churches/daughter works and 21 home groups which have been birthed in the last nine years. 

Jerry and Annie West

METRO WASHINGTON, DC
In the Summer of 2017, God began dealing with the West family about the great need for churches in Washington D.C. After prayer and council, that burden became a clarion call for the West family to be a part of establishing apostolic churches in our Nation’s Capital. In May 2019, they were appointed Metro Missionaries to Washington, D.C.
